Q Do I have to use the markers you include in the kit or can I make my drawings with something else?
A You can use any water based color makers to make your illustrations. Markers that indicate they are either non-toxic or washable, are definitely water based. Unfortunately, use of crayons, paints, colored pencils etc., is not allowed.
Q Can I attach photos to Make-A-Story pages?
A You can only do so yourself, after you receive back your book. However, Make-A-Story kits allow for including the author's photo on the "About the Author" Page.
Q Can I put more than 20 words on a book page?
A Yes, by either handwriting or typing it yourself. You can use the area just
below the drawing box, where we normally type, for this purpose. However,
leave a 3/8" margin on the left side where we bind, and note in your
instructions the other useful tips provided on this subject.
Q Will I get another chance to order reproductions of my items after you produce them?
A As with all our kits, you are given the option of buying additional reproductions of your item both before and after it is made. Your finished item will be returned with a repurchase form. However, orders for five or fewer additional items are a few dollars less expensive when ordered at the time your item is first produced
