You can use any water based color makers to make your illustrations. Markers that indicate they are either non-toxic or washable, are definitely water based. Unfortunately, use of crayons, paints, colored pencils etc., is not allowed.

You can only do so yourself, after you receive back your book. However, Make-A-Story kits allow for including the author's photo on the "About the Author" Page.
